Hey there!

As a solopreneur your most important resource is time.

It takes time to build a valuable product, to grow an audience on social media, and it even takes time to delegate your tasks, since you need to onboard that person to your business.

However, in todays world we are bombarded with irrelevant information, social media apps are constructed to steel as much time from you as possible.

And that's why you need to set boundaries.

You need to start doing deep work.

Now, let's see how you can implement this in your life.

Plan your day the night before

Planning your day the night before is a powerful habit that you can impelement.

All it takes is 10min for you to check your calendar and do this one thing.

Schedule deep work blocks

No phone. No distractions. Just you and your work.

You'll be amazed at how much you get done in a single day only by focusing on one single task.

Execute Like a Business

Big corporations work like a well oiled mashine.

Everyone has their goals, tasks, and responsibilities.

And you can mirror that to your business.

Just implement the concept called 4 Disciplines of Execution

Here are 4 easy steps how:

  1. Focus on the Wildly Important: This is the discipline of focus. Exceptional execution starts with narrowing the focus—clearly identifying what must be done. Otherwise, nothing else you achieve really matters much.

  2. Act on the Lead Measures: This is the discipline of leverage. 80% of your results will come from 20% of your activities; are you focusing on the right ones? Discipline 2 is based on the principle that not all actions are created equal. Identify and act on the activities with the highest leverage.

  3. Keep a Compelling Scoreboard: This is the discipline of engagement. People and teams play differently when they are keeping score, and the right kind of scoreboards motivate the players to win.

  4. Create a Cadence of Accountability: This is the discipline of accountability. Each team engages in a simple weekly process that highlights successes, analyzes failures, and course-corrects as necessary, creating the ultimate performance-management system.

Implement a Shutdown Ritual

All of us have limits.

It's not normal to work 24/7 and it's not healthy.

Building a business is only fun if you're there to live through all the cool moments.

Not be tied up to the bed.

Set your daily working hours and shut down after the time is up.

This will help you:

- Recharge for the next day

- Enjoy with your friends and family

- Realize that not everything is important in ones business

Your shutdown ritual should ensure that every incomplete task, goal, or project has been reviewed and that for each you have confirmed that either:

1. you have a plan you trust for its completion

2. it’s captured in a place where it will be revisited

I hope this will help you do more and spend more time enjoying life

I wish you well on your journey forward.

And, of course, if you have any feedback or suggestions please let me know, it means a lot. What do you want to read more or less of? Just reply to this email and I'll get on it!

Have a nice day! 👋
